Natalie Diaz's Postcolonial love poem in New York Times

This book asks us to read the world carefully, knowing that not everything will be translated for us, knowing that it is made up of pluralities.” That’s Emilia Phillips, writing in The New York Times this week about Natalie Diaz’s new collection, Postcolonial Love Poem. We in the Great River office have been abuzz about this one. Last fall, when Diaz read as part of the Edelstein-Keller series at the University of Minnesota, we had the good fortune to hear some of the poems from that book.
